The Dutch logistic sector is highly innovative. The opening of the top-flight Dinalog logistic institute in May 2009 represented the first groundbreaking step towards combining the knowledge and skills in the field of innovation. The Dutch Institute for Advanced Logistics (Dinalog) was established to roll out the Research and Development Program for Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Dinalog will be the (physical and virtual) site where the private sector can cooperate with Centers of Excellence (the Universities) and where Post-Experience Education will be organized.
NDL/HIDC (Holland International Distribution Council), which represents the logistics sector in the Netherlands, helps international companies make a smooth entry into the European market through the region's leading gateway, the Netherlands.
